Repetitive Strain Injury Therapy
Treatment for the tendon, nerve and joint injuries that build up slowly and then will not go away.

What it is
Repetitive strain injuries affect tendons, tendon sheaths, muscles, nerves and joints. They develop over time and settle into persistent or recurring pain, most often in the neck, shoulders, forearms, hands, wrists and elbows.
Common presentations include tendonitis, golfer elbow, trigger thumb, carpal tunnel, thoracic outlet syndrome and writer cramp. Symptoms people describe are numbness, tingling, burning, dull ache and a loss of coordination in the hand. Treatment combines soft tissue work with advice on the load that caused it, because the two have to change together.
